COVID-19 Response
RM Family,
I know we are one of countless emails you have received over the past week regarding COVID-19, however, we want to ensure our partners, advocates, and volunteers are updated and well informed. At RM the health and safety of our staff and students is our primary goal. Therefore, until further notice, we are not allowing visitors or volunteers on RM’s campus. We have also implemented increased cleaning measures across our campus and staff and students have been encouraged to frequently wash their hands.
We will continue normal programming with our current students. You will find staff and students in prayer, worship, and chapel every morning followed by learning center. In learning center, students work through five contracts of Biblical curriculum focusing on character qualities, scripture memorization, prayer, and Bible reading. In the afternoon, students will be doing various projects around RM’s campus. We also look forward to incorporating team building and fellowship activities into our days.
Research shows that stressful situations, such as COVID-19, play a key role in perpetuating drug abuse and relapse. As a result, RM expects to see an increase in the number of intake calls over the next couple of months. If you or someone you know needs the help of RM, please do not hesitate to call our intake number at 803.727.4697.
RM is able to continue serving some of the most vulnerable populations in our community and beyond because of the generosity of individuals such as yourself. I can't thank you enough for entrusting myself and our staff with this incredible task. As we seek to navigate these unprecedented times, would you consider making a donation so we can continue to serve people who are lost, hopeless, and bound by addiction?
I hope and pray you will stay encouraged as our hope is in the One who created the heavens and the earth, not in anything of this world. Thank you in advance for your unwavering commitment to help men and women experience freedom, hope, healing, and reconciliation to God, themselves, and others.
