Men from Reconciliation Ministries on a spiritual retreat in the North Carolina mountains

Columbia, South Carolina · Since 2017

Forging addicts into godly men.

We walk alongside men rebuilding their lives, offering shelter, structure, and Christ-centered community on a path to lasting freedom.

The need

Addiction doesn't just break the addict. It breaks families.

Jobs lost. Trust shattered. Fathers missing from the home. Sobriety alone can't rebuild what addiction destroyed. Men need time, truth, and a community that won't give up on them.

That's why we're slow on purpose. Over fifteen months, men are restored to God, to themselves, and to the families who've been waiting for them to come home.

Our story

Our approach

Making disciples. Restoring families. For life.

We don't treat addiction as merely a medical problem. We believe it's ultimately a heart problem, and that the Gospel changes hearts.

Long-term

A 15-month journey, not a quick fix

A peer-led discipleship program in three phases (Rooted, Restoration and Remain) followed by stability after graduation.

Christ-centered

Pointing men back to the Gospel

Every man is discipled in Scripture, prayer and worship, because lasting freedom starts with a changed heart.

Peer-led

Brothers who've walked the road

Men are led by men further along the path, in a household of accountability, work and brotherhood.

The path to freedom

Built for the long haul.

Iron is shaped slowly, in the heat. Our three phases take men from first steps of sobriety to a life that lasts.

  1. 01

    Rooted

    Stability and truth

Men get sober, grounded in Scripture, and build the daily discipline that recovery requires.

  2. 02

    Restoration

    Repairing what addiction broke

As trust rebuilds, men work on family relationships, work ethic, and a purpose that reaches beyond sobriety.

  3. 03

    Remain

    Staying free for good

Men build the accountability and community they need to stay free after graduation, with stability that lasts.

Beatty Downs

Not a facility. A flourishing neighborhood.

Our men live, work and worship in the Beatty Downs neighborhood of Columbia. It's where real reconciliation happens: around the dinner table, on job sites, in front yards, and with the neighbors we're blessed to serve.

Our vision is a flourishing neighborhood where we make Jesus famous every day.
